Protecting God's Children workshop offered at Holy Family

All members of any ministry that has contact with minors or with the elderly must take the Protecting God's Children class. Holy Family will offer one on September 23, 2017, at 9:00AM in the Parish Hall. Page see our website's "Ministries" page for more information, including a link to help you pre-register. Note that you must register in advance for any Protecting God's Children class at the VIRTUS website.

I am the Grand Knight of Fr Omer H. BRAUNER Kof C. And I would like to take the class. I pre iously tolk the trakning in 2015.

Thank you for your inquiry. Many people in different ministries need to update their training, and registration has changed a little since the last time they took it, so this is an important question.

To register to take the Protecting God's Children program at our church or any other church in our diocese, go to the MINISTRIES page on our website. You can find it in the horizontal bar at the top of your screen. (http://www.holyfamilyccpsl.com/ministries.html). Read the information about the requirements of certain volunteers.

Under that explanation, you will find a list of dates, times, and locations. Find one that suits your schedule. You may also click on the link to VIRTUS at the Diocese if you need other dates.

Beneath the calendar listings is the VIRTUS link for registration. (www.virtusonline.org) Click on that. A new page will open on your computer. Fill out the registration form. If you are not sure how to fill out the form, call our office (335-2385) or the contact person at the Diocese.

After you fill out the form, make sure you submit it.
