WELCOME HOME
The Welcome Home Ministry is a sincere invitation to attend an informal group open to those who, for whatever reason, have drifted away from the Church. No matter what the reason or how long it has been, the ministry attempts to welcome back those who have left. The changes in our Church brought about by Vatican II and any updates are discussed. The sessions are honest, frank, and sincere in dealing with the issues and feelings of the participants. The sessions are available in English and in Spanish. For more information, contact Deacon Bob at 335-2385.
No matter how long you have been away, you can ALWAYS come home.
We invite those Catholics who:
-Attend but don't receive the Blessed Sacrament
-Attend infrequently
-Have been worshiping at another Church, yet long for the Eucharist, the Sacraments and the stability of the Catholic Church
-Were simply caught up in a culture that doesn't celebrate religious beliefs
Or who became separated because of:
-Past Hurts
-Divorce or Remarriage
-Abortion
-Church Policies
-Changes since Vatican II
Join our ministry, or just help spread the word!
Holy Family Parishioners, we ask for your help during this time of hope and reconciliation, to reach out to a friend, neighbor or relative and invite him or her to these sessions. We have learned that there are many who have fallen away who are just waiting to be asked. Many simply don't know how to start their return and many others feel that what may have transpired in the past will not allow them back into full communion. They will be surprised to find how easy it really is for them to return to the Sacraments of the Church that they have longed for. This truly is a gift of love and life in Christ that you can give, which nothing else can equal.
And if you feel called to work with this ministry, please contact Deacon Bob at 335-2385.

The Welcome Home Ministry hosts meetings in January and in April every year. These meetings provide a time and a place for those Catholics who are no longer practicing their faith to sit down and talk about the reasons they have been away. The meetings are informal, non-threatening, confidential, frank and honest. Check the parish bulletin for meeting times, or call the Parish Office (772-335-2385) to arrange a private meeting with Deacon Bob.
This ministry is also available in Spanish.
